Who are we looking for?  

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemistry, with a focus on research and development. Responsibilities will include conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. A degree in chemistry or related field is required, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. Additionally, experience with laboratory equipment and techniques is highly desirable.  

  
Your role:     

• Purification of carbon material using acid treatment.  

• Dispersion making with carbon material.  

• Documenting and writing purification and dispersion making reports.   

• Carbon material synthesis using molten salt carbon capture and electrochemical transformation (MSCC-ET) technique.  

• Performing data analysis with the results of the characterization of the synthesized material.  

• Creating synthesis reports based on the experiments done.   

• Keeping lab clean and tidy.   

• Always following safety and rules of good conduct guidelines.   

• Constantly striving to improve purification, dispersion making and synthesis processes with putting a high emphasis on sustainability and minimal waste creation.  

• Contribute to ongoing international projects.  

Some of the key traits we are looking for include:    

• Educational background: BSc, MSc or Advanced technical degree e.g., in Chemistry or any other natural science field.  

• Minimum of 2 year experience working in a industry/production laboratory.  

• Experience in physical characterization of carbon materials.  
• Experience working with large amount acids.

• Proven track record of independently designing experiments.  

• Diligent and good documentation skills.   

• Attention to details and punctuality is highly preferred.  

• Good communication in English.  

• Team player.
