We are seeking a talented, motivated, and adaptable Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and experienced in working in a chemical laboratory environment. Familiarity with safety protocols for handling high-temperature equipment is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of reactors, reagent and component preparation, and process monitoring. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, demonstrate initiative in day-to-day tasks, and thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques is required.
Your Role
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain reactors and chemistry instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for analysis.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure timely availability and replenishment of consumables and reagents.
• Assist in resource planning and inventory management for concurrent projects.
• Adhere to GLP/GMP standards and laboratory safety protocols.
• Participate actively in risk assessments and contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support data collection, preliminary analysis, and documentation.
• Use software tools for tracking and managing lab data.
• Collaborate closely with researchers to align tasks with project priorities.
• Communicate issues, delays, or potential improvements with clarity and initiative.
What We are Looking For
• BSc degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field. Alternatively, an advanced technical degree (e.g., chemical process operator or laboratory assistant).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Diligence in following protocols and ensuring accurate, reliable documentation.
• Proficiency in operating lab equipment and conducting electrochemistry and/or wet chemistry experiments, with a strong willingness to learn new techniques.
• A flexible mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to evolving priorities and fast-changing project demands.
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage laboratory logistics effectively.
• Previous hands-on laboratory experience is required.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping habits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team-oriented attitude and a collaborative spirit.
